Rome was great. We had a great first day there. The Colosseum and Roman Forum were absolutely breath taking. Pictures won't do it justice. It was a quite relaxing day, but we sure did manage to tire ourselves out pretty good.
We will be headed to Palermo on an overnight tain tonight after spending the day in Pompei. I hope the weather holds out for us as it has been amazing for our first day. We ate both meals outside just because we could.
Now back to my nap...
