I realize that I really need to do an update for Italy, my last days in Berlin, and Switzerland. I'm slacking.
But I'm home safe and sound as of Saturday evening. 8 1/2 hour plane rides aren't ideal, but I made it. Mike came and got me at the airport, and I have to say it felt good to see him in person :). As for now I'm just tired all the time and my throat hurts. I think the constant running around has caught up with me and I've been trying to beat it out. Mom will be coming to get me today from Boston and I'll be in Auburn for a little while to see many of the people I've missed, as well as pack to move in to my apartment for the summer semester... the packing never seems to end.
Honestly, it's nice to be home and it's nice to know I won't be flying anywhere for a while. It still feels like I'll be headed to Tegel airport in a week to go somewhere. And the random German phrases really aren't working in the US.
Tschuss Berlin, I miss you already.

Zurich, Switzerland
So this is it. My last full day in Europe. I'm exhausted after this crazy and relaxing week. I'm sad to leave, but I'm happy to come home and see everyone I miss.
As everyone says, this truly was the experience of a lifetime. I can't wait to come back and see more. There is so much of the world I haven't seen and I hopefully can someday see some of it. I'll miss Europe, mainly my past home of Berlin. Its a wonderful city and very much unexpected in its beauty. There's so much I didn't see even there. But all the more reason to go back.
There's no question in my mind about that. I'll be back to Berlin at least once more in my life. As for now tschuss, Berlin - hello, Boston. See you tomorrow.

Ronchamp, France
We drove over the French border to check out Notre Dame du Haut by Corbusier. Were soon to be headed to Bern, Switzerland. It was nice to speak a few French words because I can mildly comprehend what I'm trying to say. The French countryside is amazingly beautiful. I got a little de ja vu when I saw some yellow poppy fields. Unfortunately when I looked nexted to me it was Nik instead of Katie Maye, Caitlin, or Amanda. I miss you guys.

Basel, Switzerland
We have been on an architecture mad dash for the past two days. We've been sketching anything and everything. And I don't honestly think I'm improving. I'm going to look back at these sketches and never want to go back to these buildings.
Home in 6 days.

Berlin, Germany
Italy was nice. I will try to get an update up soon, but this week is going to be absolute hell. Final review is a week from today. Berlin is beautiful right now. Too bad all I can see is the inside of studio. :(

Palermo, Italy
12 hour overnight train ride not recommended. But I'm here and all of us aren't that cranky yet. Weather looks good.. Knock on wood!
