Meet Flat Stanley. Stanley will be traveling through Europe with me.
Now, I don't how many of you know about Flat Stanley, but I had one when I was in 3rd grade. So I am taking on Flat Stanley yet again. This one happens to belong to a boy who goes to school where Sheryl, Mike's mom, teaches. Here's the story I was handed:
"Our third grade class just finished reading a book called, Flat Stanley, Flat Stanley was a normal boy until one morning a bulletin board fell on him. He became flat but otherwise he was normal. Stanley could do things that he couldn't do before. He could be mailed instead of buying a plane ticket to go on vacation. I have made a Flat Stanley and would like to send him to you for a vacation. While he visits with you, please take some pictures of him and send us a letter about his vacation. Thank you very much for helping with my third grade project"
So from time to time, you may catch a Stanley in one of my pictures. Hopefully he'll fit nicely in my backpack and keeps good company :)
